A candidate interested in an admission to various Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs at the constituent colleges of Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University Mysore (JSS University) has to submit the prescribed application form along with all the necessary supporting documents to the university for consideration of admission. The candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria as per MCI/DCI/PCI norms and as prescribed by the respective regulation of the JSS University from time to time. Admission to various Medical Programmes and dental programmes is based on an Entrance Test conducted on an ‘All India’ basis and on the Merit-List prepared by the University. Admission to various Pharmacy Programmes is based on the Merit-List prepared by JSS University based on the combined average scores secured in the qualifying examination and the entrance test. Admission will be governed by the regulations of statutory bodies such as the Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India and directions will be followed from the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India from time to time.
Students, who are not in the merit list, have to consider direct admission through management quota. The fee structure is set for every course by the university. The NRI quota admission is also provided for NRI students.
